The Effectiveness of Dialectical Behavior Therapy on Emotional Processing Defects and Impulsivity of Soldiers Aged 18 to 20 Years with High-risk Behaviors

Background: Faulty emotional strategies are one of the most crucial indicators dangerous behavior. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate effectiveness dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) on processing defects and impulsivity soldiers aged 18 20 years with high-risk behaviors. Methods: The method present was quasi-experimental a pre-test-post-test design. statistical population this included all referred Valiasr Medical Center in Tehran 2020. research sample 30 behaviors who were selected purposefully randomly assigned two groups (15 people experimental group 15 control group). To collect data, Scale (IARS), Barrett's Impulsiveness scale, Toronto Alexithymia (TAS-20) used. underwent ten sessions DBT, did not receive any treatment. Data analyzed using multivariate analysis covariance SPSS-23 software. significance level tests considered 0.05.
